Food52 Party Recap

We really didn’t need an excuse to get people together for a food feast, but thanks to Food52 and the release of their 2nd cookbook, we had one. Tamre signed up online to host a Food52 party, which meant that she’d be sent lots of goodies (and cookbooks) to giveaway if we hosted a party where people came with dishes they made from the Food52 website.

There were so many amazing things. My friends are talented folks. Here are some highlights from the day!

Twinkle brought a leek, potato and cheese pie that was drizzle with balsamic vinegar.

Tamre had dates stuffed with goat cheese and topped with spicy pecans.

Angie brought a curried lentil soup.

Abbi’s stuffing with mushrooms and sweet potatoes – I’m usually not a stuffing fan, but this wasn’t soggy and the flavor couldn’t be beat.

Kim’s carrot fries were baked with coconut, lime and cilantro

For dessert, Brittani’s cream puffs with chocolate mousse

There were other items that I missed getting photos of – Sasha’s coconut ice cream was devoured and Joy’s chocolate cake was moist and delicious. And of course, I forgot to photograph my own fennel and white bean dip that was excellent. I’m sure I’ll be making it for future parties and gatherings.

Thanks to everyone who attended and enjoyed this party – and hopefully those who went home with Food52 books will share their upcoming food experiences!
